This week we learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We wrote about how we would keep Dr. King's dream alive. Here are a couple of our writing samples:
Then we read the story "The Skin You Live In by Michael Tyler. We created a peace wreath made of many different types of skin color. This helps us to remember to keep Dr. King's dream alive.

We help keep Dr King's dream alive by treating everyone like Jesus would. Jesus does not see skin color; why should we?
