What's the Buzz? Problem, Solution and Collaboration

We have been working on identifying problem and solution in a story. We read "The Sleeping Pig" by Carmen Tafolla and Jan Epton Seale. Then we worked with a partner to identify the problem and solution. Each set of partners drew a picture of the problem and solution. Then partners wrote a couple sentences about the problem and solution. Each set of partners practiced reading what they wrote. Finally the partners were ready for recording.
